Over the past 25 years, Spicer India has developed into a leading supplier of axles, driveshafts, drivetrain products and genuine service parts. Spicer India Private Limited came about as a result of ANAND’s joint venture with Dana Incorporated, a global leader in the field of driveshaft and drivetrain components. This joint venture allows Spicer to make the most of the advanced engineering capabilities of SIPL and Dana engineers and develop world-class products.

Dana provides high-quality automotive products across four areas – tyre management, transmissions, structural sealing and thermal systems. With >14 technology centres strategically located throughout the world, Dana’s engineers use the superior resources at their disposal to develop, design, test and manufacture products that suit individual customer needs. - Established Jodalli plant
- Broke ground at Chakan plant
- 1996:
- Established Chakan plant (axles)
- Introduced limited-slip differential and independent suspension front axles
- Broke ground at Satara plant (driveshafts)

- Commenced exports from Jodalli plant
- 2003:
- Established export-oriented unit at Chakan plant

- 2018:
- Jodalli plant was honored with Gold Award under SQEP (Supplier Quality Excellence Process) category for being the first supplier of CAT, Hosur Division. The senior management team from CAT India presented the award to Jodalli team.
- Manesar plant received the 'Comprehensive Excellence Award 2017-18' by Maruti Suzuki for performance in quality and delivery.
- Jodalli plant became the first supplier to Caterpillar, Hosur to received Gold Award under Supplier Quality Excellence Process category.
- Felicitated with “Authenticate – Q” supplier award for the western region for quality and reliability performance of products.
- Jodalli plant received ‘Golden Peacock Award for Energy Efficiency’ at the World Congress on Environment Management and Climate Change.
- Recognised as one of the '25 Best Workplaces in Asia' for 2018 by Great Place To Work Institute.
- Jodalli became the first supplier of the Hosur division of Caterpillar (CAT) to be honoured with the Gold Award under SQEP (Supplier Quality Excellence Process) category.

- Chakan plant was recently felicitated with the ‘Shrestha Suraksha Puraskar’ Silver Trophy award by The National Safety Council, India (NSCI) during its NSCI Safety Awards Ceremony 2017. The Spicer India team received the award from Shri Santosh Kumar Gangwar, Hon’ble Minister of State (Independent Charge), Labour and Employment, Govt. of India.
