In our efforts towards truly empowering the society, we at Dana Anand India, have undertaken a series of initiatives in the fields of education, skill development and rural development. By joining forces with the SNS Foundation, we endeavour to contribute to societal development in towns and cities beyond plant locations. From creating a safer learning environment for students of government-run schools to empowering the differently-abled, Dana Anand India has ensured a positive impact across all walks of life. In a bid to encourage young girls to pursue technical courses, the company launched a scholarship programme for tenth-grade girl students in government-run schools.

The company’s two-month course in packaging and inspection has helped >128 speech and hearing-impaired youth to become self-sufficient. Dana Anand India has also kick-started a factory operations and maintenance course, which provides students the opportunity to learn on-the-job. Dana Anand India’s vendors often hire graduates of this programme. The tailoring course has successfully trained >100 girls, allowing them to stand on their own two feet. With a slew of such initiatives, Dana Anand India is making concerted efforts at energising India’s youth, especially in the rural areas, and thus contributing to nation-building.
