Over the last two decades, while our JV partner’s ownership changed hands, we continued to build on the Power of Partnership. In 2010, the company became a JV with FECT, the world’s sixth largest automotive equipment supplier. Strengthened by access to advanced technologies, we bring the global best in Emission Control Systems. Today, we have the expertise to customize Emission Control products to enable OEMs to meet BS-IV/BS-VI and EPA norms.

TIMELINES

  • 1997 -   Established as a joint venture with ArvinMeritor, USA, for manufacturing exhaust muffler assemblies, and catalytic converters. Starts operations in Nashik.
  • 1998 -   Shifted operations to Chennai.
  • 1999 -   Set up the Chennai facility for manufacturing automotive components for Ford and Toyota.
  • 2004 -   Set up the Bengaluru facility for manufacturing automotive components exclusively for Toyota.
  • 2007 -   Entered into an agreement with Emcon Technologies after ArvinMeritor, USA sold off its emission technologies business.
  • 2010 -   Signed JV with Faurecia Emission Control Technologies, France after it took over of the worldwide emissions control business of Emcon Technologies.
  • 2011 -   Completed acquisition of Pune facility from Yutaka, Japan.
  • 2011 -   Achieved TS 16949 and ISO 14001 certification
  • 2012 -   Achieved zero defects (parts per million) with Renault Nissan hot-ends.
  • 2017 -   Recognised by Great Place to Work®.
  • 2019 -   Faurecia Clean Mobility India team won the prestigious “Young Engineer Award for 2018” in a competition organised by Indian Institute of Welding
  • 2019 -   Faurecia Clean Mobility, Bengaluru plant has received ‘Zero PPM Award’ and Certificate for achieving targets by Toyota Kirloskar Motor
